About Martin
Martin graduated from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 2007. While studying for his degree he was awarded numerous prizes for academic excellence including the prestigious Principal’s Prize for graduating with the highest mark in his year. He was also nominated for the University medal given to the best dental student across London. Upon graduation he completed his Vocational Training in a small NHS practice in Essex.
After working in practice for a year Martin decided to further develop his dental skills with some hospital training posts. He spent a year working as a Senior House Office in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow. During this time Martin completed his membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons and was awarded the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties. He then spent a year as a Core Dental Trainee in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal London Dental Hospital where he received additional training in all areas of restorative dentistry.
During his hospital training he developed an interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) and has since completed an MSc in this field, passing with Merit. Martin now treats endodontic referrals at Conservation Dental Centre, London's Harley Street and the Royal London Dental Hospital. Additionally, he is involved in teaching dentists in this areas of dentistry.
